Without any chemicals, the process of coking which have no harm to human and environment can make the wood antique color. This equipment solve the relation between coking process parameters and the effect of carbonization by the control of the carbonization temperature and holding time. The process parameters of the equipment play a decisive role to the performance of the coking wood.
Our company designed and developed the automatic drying control programs by measuring and analyzing the color, quality, hydroscopicity, wet swelling property, mechanical property and chemical components of the coking wood under different conditions of carbonization. And the rationality of the equipment has reached the world advanced level.
Carbonized craft of timbers
1. Carbonized temperature and holding time directly affect the wood carbonized effect. Different kinds of timber have different crafts because of the difference properties of the woods.
2. With the increase of carbonized temperature and holding time, the color of wood darker and the uniformity of the color increased, the depth of the carbonization deeper, the hydroscopicity and wet swelling decreased, the dimensional stability increased, the mechanical property decreased, so the carbonized timber is not recommended as load bearing material
3. With the increase of carbonized temperature and holding time, the dimensional stability of the carbonized wood increased obviously because of the number of C=O and -CH3 reduced. The quality of wood will be changed after carbonization and the hemicelluloses will be degraded in the process of heat treatment.
Tank type anaerobic carbonization process equipment and features

High temperature depth carbonized wood process:
Stage 1: raise and dry stage by high temperature , with high temperature
steam to raise 100ºC, at this time ,the moisture of the wood is closed to
zero ,the drying time of high temperature is up to original moisture of
wood ,and variety of trees ,and thickness of wood , if treated wood have
high moisture ,it should be put into Kiln drying.
Stage 2: heat treatment stage ,the heat treatment is under low
oxygen airtight furnace ,according to treatment requirement , after high
temperature dry ,when the temperature of furnace get 200 ºC ,we can
begin to treat, the time of heat treatment is up to original moisture of
wood ,and variety of trees ,and thickness of wood
Stage 3: cool and moisture mediation treatment stage ,after heat treated
wood become cool within controlled condition ,at this time use spray
system to cool down the temperature ,then to process moisture mediation
treatment .Pay more attention at this time ,after heat treatment wood is in
high temperature stage , and have big temperature difference with
outside .it will make wood crack ,this treated time is related to variety of
trees and treated time.
Technology processes:
dry in the drying kiln with normal temperature---- high temperature steam dry in the carbonization tank----- high temperature heat treatment in the carbonization tank------spray cooling-----Pressure and cooling the tank---- the environment stable balance-----Finish
